AI Data Pipelines @ 4 Reporting @ 4

Details

Anthropic is scaling its compute infrastructure across a portfolio of data center builds with multiple developer partnerships. The Data Center Portfolio & Planning team owns the integrated view of compute supply, including compute allocation, decision locks, forecasting, and the frameworks that support them.

This role manages the data center portfolio, including sites, partners, and the decisions required to move each site toward operational readiness. The role establishes stage gates, operating cadence, and tooling to create a consistent program spanning negotiation through deployment. It works cross-functionally with site selection, energy, supply chain, engineering, and delivery teams, as well as external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall portfolio, including each site’s status, milestones, decisions, open items, and risks.
  • Lead portfolio reviews covering the current state of supply, decisions needed, and downstream impacts.
  • Architect and run the stage-gate framework, including criteria, approvals, and owners for each gate, standardizing how sites progress from negotiation through lease execution, design and chip lock, construction, and operational handoff.
  • Work with planning and design teams to determine chip allocation for each site ahead of deadlines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between strategic partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive execution toward critical milestones and maintain consistency across site selection, design, supply chain, and delivery.
  • Develop AI-driven tooling and data pipelines to automate project updates across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Experience managing data centers or comparable capital-intensive infrastructure at scale.
  • Experience owning external development or partner relationships and holding both parties accountable to commitments.
  • Experience building or operating a stage-gate or milestone framework and achieving broad team adoption.
  • Understanding of constraints such as power, cooling, design, and delivery dates that determine where hardware can be deployed and when decisions must be locked.
  • Experience automating reporting with tooling or data pipelines.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical program management experience on capital projects, including delivery across multiple concurrent builds.
  • Management consulting or internal strategy experience involving ambiguous problems, operating structure, and execution cadence.
  • Experience with accelerator or server fleet planning and the data center designs required for those systems.
  • Commercial experience with data center agreements, including lease negotiation, framework agreements, or post-signature management.

Compensation

  • Annual salary: $320,000–$405,000 USD.

Work Arrangement and Benefits

  • Remote-friendly role in the United States.
  • Staff are currently expected to work from one of Anthropic’s offices at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
  • Anthropic offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office space for collaboration.
  • Anthropic sponsors visas and makes reasonable efforts to support visa applications, although sponsorship is not guaranteed for every role or candidate.
