Details
SentinelOne is seeking a Director of User Experience to define and scale the user experience for its Purple Autonomous SOC platform. This senior player/coach will provide strategic design leadership, UX architecture, and hands-on design excellence for complex, data-rich cybersecurity products. The role will shape the long-term UX vision, influence high-impact product initiatives, ensure UX quality across multiple product surfaces, and build a design organization capable of operating at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the end-to-end user experience for the Autonomous SOC, including agent-first customer experiences.
- Establish a cohesive interaction model and information architecture focused on agentic actions and human orchestration.
- Own the long-term UX vision and align it with product management strategy.
- Lead system-level design thinking for complex and innovative interaction models.
- Ensure consistency, scalability, accessibility, and usability across the product ecosystem.
- Lead a high-performing product design organization, managing and mentoring senior managers, lead designers, and principal-level individual contributors.
- Attract, hire, and retain design talent while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Threat Research, and Executive Leadership.
- Influence product strategy through user insights, design vision, and architectural thinking.
- Advocate for design at the leadership level while balancing user needs with technical and business constraints.
- Communicate design strategy, tradeoffs, and outcomes clearly to executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience in Product Design or UX.
- 5 or more years of experience in senior leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading UX for complex B2B or SaaS platforms.
- Strong background in UX architecture, interaction models, and system-level design.
- Strong understanding of agentic automation and its impact on traditional design models.
- Experience designing cybersecurity, observability, DevOps, or similarly complex technical products is preferred.
- Familiarity with security workflows such as alert triage, investigations, threat hunting, and incident response is preferred.
- Experience defining or evolving enterprise design systems at scale is preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-product or platform-based organizations is preferred.
- Experience in high-growth, fast-scaling product environments is preferred.

Compensation
The U.S. base salary range is $237,188–$355,350 USD and may vary based on the candidate's location. A different range may apply for some locations.
