About the Team
Stripe's Enterprise and Ecosystem team focuses on enhancing migration, activation, and cross-product experiences for enterprises. The team collaborates closely with product and customer-facing teams.
Exact team matching for one of the subteams will begin during the final stages. Candidates may also be considered for different organizations based on their experience, location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain connectors and integrations for partners such as Shopify and Salesforce.
- Build Stripe services and infrastructure that facilitate transactional flows and data migration.
- Launch high-impact projects, such as a new payments-agnostic billing connector.
- Take technical ownership of projects and operate as a self-sufficient contributor.
- Collaborate with engineering teams focused on underlying infrastructure to ensure cohesion and scalability.
- Build and scale connectivity with global commerce systems, including Ecommerce, CRM, and ERP platforms.
- Develop infrastructure that powers unified connectors for partners and enables rapid integration of Stripe products.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of industry software engineering experience, excluding internships and co-ops.
- Strong full-stack capabilities, including the ability to write code on core Stripe systems while understanding external partner systems.
- Proficiency with a modern web stack and experience shipping production-level code.
- Foundational understanding of, and ability to read, the code and interfaces of partner systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, and NetSuite.
- Ability to solve complex, multi-system problems quickly and adapt to unfamiliar technical domains.
- Self-motivation and the ability to take full ownership of projects and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building connectors or deep integrations with major Ecommerce, CRM, or ERP platforms.
- Experience with payment or subscription systems.
- A demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new systems and navigate unfamiliar technical domains effectively.
