We're looking for a Senior System Architect in the Platform Engineering department to shape how platform engineering is implemented across Platform Engineering & Operations. The role involves making architectural decisions that help engineers and application teams deliver secure, reliable, and compliant solutions faster while reducing infrastructure complexity.
The mission is to reduce cognitive overload for application teams by providing intuitive, automated, and well-orchestrated platform capabilities. The department builds and evolves strategic platforms that support the bank's technology landscape, enabling teams to focus on customer value instead of infrastructure complexity.
Responsibilities

- Depending on the initiative, contribute expertise, act as a sparring partner, or take ownership of specific deliverables.
Working Environment
The Platform Engineering department is part of the Platform Engineering & Operations domain and consists of three teams. Together, the teams make infrastructure platforms easier and faster for application teams to consume. They set standards for automation and API-based integration and co-create solutions with other platform teams in areas such as automation, APIs, and AI.
Requirements

- Experience with platform engineering and automation, including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, orchestration, and self-service platform capabilities; more than 5 years of experience.
- Broad technical background in software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, reliability, scalability, observability, and resilience patterns; more than 10 years of experience.
- Interest in emerging technologies such as cloud-native solutions, AI, and digital sovereignty.
