Details

ING Hubs Poland is hiring for an expert Kubernetes engineering role focused on building, managing, and improving Kubernetes-based platforms that provide block- and object-based storage as a platform. The global ING job architecture title for this role is “Engineer IV.”

Responsibilities

Work as a DevOps Engineer on the product backlog, refining features for current and new platforms.
Build integrations between various infrastructure systems to support end-to-end customer journeys.
Manage, maintain, and improve existing platforms using a GitOps way of working.
Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift.
Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs, provide enablement, and drive adoption of best practices.
Provide 24x7 coverage, including weekends and evenings, for standby duty on a rotational basis with other team members.

Requirements

Extensive experience building and managing Kubernetes clusters.
Experience working with PaaS.
Understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
Experience with Portworx or Minio.
English proficiency at B2/C1 level.

Additional Qualifications

Knowledge of software-designed storage.
Experience with Azure DevOps.
Experience with networking technologies.
Hands-on experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Experience with Go programming for API development and maintenance.
