ING Hubs Poland is hiring for a frontend development role within the Analytics Platforms & Data Products team. The team has more than 100 people and combines UX research, engineering, and data science to deliver analytics solutions and products. The team has offices in Amsterdam, Warsaw, Katowice, Bucharest, and Manila. The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture is “Engineer II” or “Engineer III”.

Responsibilities

Develop new features and components.
Design and develop JavaScript and TypeScript web applications.
Optimize web applications for performance and scalability, including verifying browser rendering processes.
Resolve incidents and troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met.
Work with RESTful APIs.
Participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with clients, customer success teams, and quality assurance to gain better insight into their projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of experience with frontend technologies and frameworks, including the React ecosystem.
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and solutions.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD, and monitoring.
Experience collaborating with other teams, such as UX.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a semi-remote, globally distributed team.

Additional qualifications:

Curious, collaborative mindset and passion for helping others grow and improve.
Programming skills in Go and/or Java.
Experience building distributed, reactive applications.
Good understanding of databases, especially relational database management systems.
Experience with message-oriented middleware such as Kafka.
Experience with the ELK stack.

Salary

Specialist position: PLN 7,100–12,000 per month.
Senior specialist position: PLN 9,600–15,000 per month.
The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.
