Airbnb is seeking a Lead, Advanced Analytics, Acquisition to support the acquisition of new Hosts and drive business growth. The role focuses on in-depth data analysis, metric definition, benchmark creation, experimentation, and synthesizing high-level insights for prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate closely with business teams, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.
• Define new metrics and identify leading indicators of key business outcomes.
• Build dashboards to track key performance metrics across markets and customer segments and establish benchmarks.
• Conduct A/B tests to improve business performance and maximize incrementality.
• Collaborate with Strategic Finance, Data and Analytical Engineering, and Data Science teams to align strategies and leverage synergies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or Operations Research. A master's degree or PhD is a plus.
• Prior experience in advanced analytics or business data science within a marketplace or business strategy setting.
• Deep understanding of econometric and statistical analysis, with experience applying these skills to derive insights from broad data sets.
• Strong expertise in at least one programming language, such as Python or R, and SQL.
• Experience with AI-assisted analytics tools, such as Claude and ChatGPT.
• Exceptional business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make informed judgments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions.
• An agile, growth-minded approach and a history of driving projects from ideation to impact.

Location

This position is US remote eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with the manager. The employee must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

Compensation

The base pay range is $164,000–$191,000 USD. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
