Details
Lead the client-facing platform through which financial professionals create, discover, configure, test, deploy, share, and manage AI agents that help them complete work within ASKB and across relevant Bloomberg experiences. This senior Product Management role is a core part of Bloomberg’s broader AI strategy.
The role covers the complete ecosystem loop: helping clients delegate meaningful work, enabling high-quality agent creation, connecting users with relevant capabilities, supporting successful outcomes, and using participation and feedback to improve the platform over time. You will work with Engineering, UX, AI, Product, Sales, Market Specialists, Support, and Bloomberg clients.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the vision, business objectives, key results, and roadmap for client-facing ASKB experiences that allow clients to delegate bounded work and receive completed results and artifacts.
- Act as the voice of clients, users creating and sharing reusable workflows, institutional administrators, Bloomberg contributors, Sales, Market Specialists, and Support.
- Own the end-to-end journey from initial goal through scoping, configuration, execution, completion, review, refinement, reuse, sharing, and ongoing management.
- Shape agent discovery through library organization, search, filtering, sorting, recommendations, and discovery within conversations.
- Develop product strategies and mechanisms that increase reuse, adoption, discovery, and feedback across the ecosystem.
- Create progressive experiences that are approachable for new users while providing advanced users with precision, transparency, and control.
- Define lifecycle capabilities for testing, evaluation, execution, versioning, sharing, governance, maintenance, and retirement.
- Partner with ASKB and Bloomberg AI platform teams to translate tools, data, memory, permissions, triggers, and evaluation capabilities into a coherent client experience.
- Experiment with generative and agentic AI products that use tools and data to perform multi-step work and produce useful outputs with limited supervision.
- Define and track measures including successful delegation and completion, time to first value, result and artifact quality, review and refinement, repeat adoption, reuse and sharing, client trust, and product quality.
- Use product data, client research, telemetry, and evaluation results to identify friction, improve adoption and reuse, and adjust the roadmap.
- Lead previews, pilots, launches, and adoption initiatives with Engineering, UX, AI, Sales, Market Specialists, and Support.
- Communicate strategy, priorities, trade-offs, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership, development teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of product management or equivalent product leadership experience, preferably in financial technology, enterprise software, workflow products, productivity tools, authoring systems, or platform products.
- Experience defining and scaling a client-facing platform or product ecosystem where users, customers, or internal experts create value that others can discover, consume, or reuse.
- Ability to understand participant incentives, second-order effects, ecosystem health, and opportunities for compounding value.
- Experience defining product strategy, vision, business objectives, success measures, and phased roadmaps for complex products.
- Experience owning products from customer discovery through delivery, launch, adoption, improvement, and scaling.
- Strong product judgment and ability to balance immediate client needs with long-term platform and ecosystem growth.
- Experience making technically sophisticated capabilities intuitive while preserving flexibility, precision, and institutional controls.
- Experience working directly with clients to validate strategy, understand workflows, and translate ambiguous needs into product decisions.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving Engineering, UX or Design, go-to-market teams, senior stakeholders, and multiple technical dependencies.
- Experience defining product funnels, ecosystem metrics, and success measures and using telemetry, research, and customer evidence to drive prioritization.
- Practical fluency in generative AI, including models, instructions, context, tools, permissions, evaluation, behavior, reliability, and client trust.
- Hands-on experimentation with AI products that perform multi-step work and produce finished outputs or artifacts.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience shipping and scaling an AI-native product that allows users to delegate multi-step work.
- Experience with creator ecosystems, marketplaces, application platforms, or products whose value grows through discovery, sharing, and reuse.
- Experience with enterprise collaboration, sharing, permissions, governance, administration, auditability, or content lifecycle management.
- Experience designing progressive experiences, low-code builders, authoring tools, or platforms for creators, consumers, administrators, novices, and experts.
- Knowledge of financial markets and Bloomberg client workflows, including research, portfolio management, sales and trading, or risk.
- Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg’s client-facing product ecosystem.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $140,000–$295,000 USD annually, plus benefits and bonus.
- Benefits may include merit increases, incentive compensation, paid holidays, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability benefits, 401(k) matching, life insurance, and wellness programs.
- Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education, training, and skill level.
