Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Startup Products team builds Stripe Atlas and other products that help founders start and run a company from anywhere in the world. The team helps founders form companies, raise capital, execute legal agreements, access business tools, and automate operations.

As a Product Manager on the Startup Products team, you will develop a deep understanding of early-stage founders' needs, identify important problems to solve, help set product strategy, scope product features and technical infrastructure, collaborate with design, drive execution with engineering, craft product marketing, and plan go-to-market activities.

Responsibilities

Deeply understand the needs of startup founders and how they use Atlas and other startup products.
Stay at the forefront of the changing technology landscape and build products using tools founders want to use.
Drive product development with engineering counterparts by setting the pace, prioritizing work, and unblocking execution.
Craft product experiences that are simple, powerful, and detailed.
Contribute to product strategy and own delivery of product and business metrics.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and communicate clearly about status, priorities, and impact.
Represent Atlas externally with founders, venture capitalists, accelerators, and partners.
Establish external partnerships as needed to drive product development.
Develop and maintain metrics to understand product performance.
Ensure a strong user experience by reviewing feedback, unblocking users, collaborating with support teams, and delivering product solutions to common user problems.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

8+ years of product management or product-focused founder experience.
Experience shipping user-facing or API products built on complex technical systems operating at scale.
Interest in artificial intelligence and experimentation, including willingness to significantly change workflows for more effective solutions.
Passion for helping founders build their businesses.
Persistence and a results-oriented approach to product success.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate customer problems precisely.
Strong data skills and confidence measuring user impact.

Preferred Qualifications

Founder background or experience in a very early-stage company environment.
Software engineering experience, a computer science or engineering degree, or similar technical experience.
