Product Manager, App Foundations

Anthropic is building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. Claude is a rapidly growing AI product used by tens of millions of people across web, mobile, and desktop.

As a Product Manager on the App Foundations team, you will own key parts of the Claude user experience, including product primitives such as memory, voice mode, and artifacts. You will improve and scale a widely used product while applying strong systems thinking, product judgment, attention to quality, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for your area.
• Design capabilities as systems that flexibly extend to all Claude products.
• Translate frontier model capabilities into simple, intuitive experiences for a broad consumer audience.
• Analyze product metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities and optimize performance.
• Use quantitative data, experimentation, and user research to understand user behavior and make prioritization decisions.
• Maintain a high bar for product quality and craft, including everyday interactions experienced by millions of users.
• Partner with design, engineering, data science, research, and marketing teams to ship high-impact product improvements at a fast cadence.
• Balance rapid iteration with a commitment to AI safety and ethics.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• A relevant field of study, demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience across consumer and enterprise products.
• Founder experience.
• AI product experience.
• Experience working on both B2C and B2B products.

Compensation

• Annual salary: $305,000–$385,000 USD.
