Details
Airbnb is seeking a Product Marketing & Management leader to join its Tickets team, a new and fast-growing business spanning attractions, tours, and live events. The role will help define the category for Airbnb by shaping the product, building supply, and developing the story that brings it to market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Airbnb Tickets.
- Synthesize guest, host, and partner feedback and translate it into product features and positioning.
- Develop public-facing messaging and narratives for Tickets and communicate the value proposition to guests, supply partners, and the media.
- Align product teams and cross-functional partners across marketing, communications, and product marketing and management.
- Develop partnerships with attractions operators, tour providers, and live event suppliers, with a focus on both supply and demand.
- Ensure the existing storefront is healthy and maintain a high quality bar across ticket listings.
- Make prioritization decisions in the best interests of users.
- Execute efficiently to ship products and deliver impact for the business and users.
- Partner across engineering, design, operations, data science, marketing, and communications.
- Travel frequently, including domestically and internationally.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management and/or product marketing experience.
- Experience creating product messaging and positioning and delivering it to customers and the media.
- Subject matter expertise, ideally in ticketing, travel, events, or marketplace businesses.
- Hands-on experience with ticketing marketplaces, operator and supply-side tools, and ticketing standard APIs and integrations, including reservation and distribution systems, connectivity platforms, and barcode or QR validation.
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements, turning ambiguous problems into clear specifications aligned with engineering, design, and partners.
- Understanding of backend ticketing data models, including ticket types, fare and price classes, entitlements, and inventory relationships.
- Experience with inventory and availability modeling, including capacity, time slots, holds, and real-time availability across supply sources.
- Ability to build compelling customer-focused stories and work with marketing and communications partners.
- Demonstrated product leadership in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience building and scaling global consumer products, marketplaces, or ecosystems.
- Entrepreneurial track record of taking an idea to reality and leading teams through a dynamic environment.
- Experience working on consumer products that drive significant revenue.
- Strong ability to use data and perform business analysis to support product strategy and go-to-market decisions.
- Ability and desire to drive execution across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to perform individual-contributor product and product marketing work and stay involved in the details.
Location
This position is US remote eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with the manager. Candidates must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range is $200,000–$240,000 USD. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
