Bloomberg's Financial Management Systems and Solutions Agile Program Management team supports and establishes frameworks for Technology and CAO teams and delivers project management for critical initiatives. The team supports SAP and related technologies, including core enterprise platforms, business warehouses, and robotic process automation, as well as business processes such as Quote to Cash, Source to Pay, Payroll, Global Sustainability, and Supply Chain.

The Project Manager will join a collaborative Program Management Office and partner with engineers, project analysts, business stakeholders, and leaders to manage complex technology and operational initiatives through the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent technical and operational projects with broad organizational impact.
• Establish project governance, plans, milestones, deliverables, and decision-making processes.
• Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive delivery and achieve business outcomes.
• Measure, track, and report project performance indicators, milestones, and business outcomes.
• Set stakeholder expectations, anticipate challenges, and mitigate delivery risks.
• Facilitate senior-level decision-making through clear reporting, transparency, data, and visualization.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Facilitate project workshops, working sessions, governance meetings, and executive discussions.
• Improve project team performance through collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and effective ways of working.
• Partner with Agile and Scrum teams to integrate project management activities into sprint-based delivery.
• Enhance project management frameworks, standards, tools, and ways of working.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring accountability, sound judgment, flexibility, and a hands-on approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of project or program management experience supporting large-scale process and technology initiatives in complex corporate environments, either in-house or within management consulting.
• Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies, with experience across Agile, Scrum, and traditional delivery approaches.
• Strong communication, collaboration, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to independently solve problems and navigate ambiguity.
• Ability to influence and lead with and without direct authority.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize information and communicate key insights to senior stakeholders.
• Results-oriented approach with strong ownership and follow-through.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-lifecycle project or program management experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations, including SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or other SaaS implementations.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, ideally Scrum.
• Experience as a Scrum Master supporting technical teams, facilitating ceremonies, continuous improvement, and process discipline.
• Understanding of Accounting, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Payroll processes.
• Big Four consulting and in-house corporate experience.
• Experience supporting global implementations.
• PMP, SAFe, or Scrum Master certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Ability to travel as needed, less than 10% of the time.

Compensation

• Salary range: USD 100–110 per hour.
