Details

NVIDIA's Design-for-Test Engineering team develops innovative solutions for DFT architecture, verification, and post-silicon validation on complex semiconductor chips. This role focuses on pre-silicon and post-silicon data analytics, data engineering, statistical analysis, and applied AI for DFT methodologies and next-generation products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-silicon and post-silicon data analytics, including visualization, insight generation, and modeling.
  • Design and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes for ingesting and processing DFX Engineering data from multiple sources.
  • Lead engineering efforts with execution, analytics, data science, and product teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Apply algorithm design, statistical tools, and applied AI methods to solve complex Design-for-Test problems.
  • Help develop and deploy DFT methodologies for next-generation products using generative AI solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers on test designs and trade-offs, including cost and quality considerations.

Requirements

  • BSEE or equivalent experience with 5+ years of experience, MSEE with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ years of experience in low-power DFT, data visualization, applied machine learning, or database management.
  • Crucial experience with SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience designing and implementing highly scalable, fault-tolerant distributed database solutions.
  • Experience leading data modeling, performance tuning, and capacity planning for large-scale, mission-critical storage workloads.
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical tools for data analysis and insights.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Perl, Python, C++, or Tcl.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills and curiosity to work on challenging problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data pipeline and database architecture for real-world systems.
  • Experience applying AI to EDA-related problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of technology and passion for engineering.
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, including the ability to guide and influence others in a dynamic environment.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base salary range: USD 152,000–230,000 for Level 3 and USD 168,000–264,500 for Level 4, depending on location, experience, and comparable employee compensation.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
  • Full-time position.
