Airbnb is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the evolution of its supply integration platform, which connects third-party property management systems at scale. The role is part of the Communication and Connectivity team within the Guest & Host organization.

Responsibilities

Lead the evolution of a world-class supply integration platform and advance the third-party supply ecosystem.
Define the third-party supply growth strategy and technical roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional leadership.
Set the technical and artificial intelligence strategy for the platform to improve its capability, efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Build, grow, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, providing people and technical leadership across multiple projects.
Partner with senior leaders across Data Science, Product, and Business Development to align strategies, define multi-year technical roadmaps, and execute iterative milestones.
Work directly with business and third-party partners to select partnerships, deliver high-quality integrations, and ensure partner reliability and performance.
Serve as the senior technical voice, aligning priorities and driving delivery across teams.
Lead, coach, and develop engineers by supporting their career growth, technical expertise, and collaboration skills.

Requirements

12+ years of overall engineering experience, including 5+ years managing a team in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Significant experience navigating internal partnerships across multiple teams, driving strategy and alignment, managing dependencies and competing priorities, and providing direction.
Experience building, leading, and architecting full-stack products and systems at enterprise scale with significant impact.
Experience applying modern artificial intelligence technologies to products and development cycles.
Hands-on technical leadership experience, including leading project teams, setting technical direction and strategy, and working cross-functionally with Product and Data Science teams.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, including influencing others, assessing trade-offs, and communicating technical initiatives to technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have: experience designing and building external-facing APIs and AI agent integrations.

Work Location

This position is remote eligible in the United States. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with the manager. Candidates must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range: $248,000–$310,000 USD per year.
The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
