  • Partner with carriers and data centers to track orders, delivery, and handoff.
  • Document LOAs, CFAs, and circuit details in inventory and ticketing systems; support circuit testing/troubleshooting during turn-up.
  • Source and procure POP space, power, cross-connects and related services.
  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and SLA management; coordinate PoP handover schedules with the network deployment and engineering teams, legal and procurement.
  • Manage site readiness schedules, equipment logistics and service requests; plan for power capacity, rack utilization and future growth potential.
  • Monitor vendor performance, operational costs and contract compliance; maintain documentation for contracts, power allocations and deployment standards.
  • Support PoP expansions, upgrades and decommissioning activities; keep projects on track in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of transport technologies (DWDM, Ethernet, OTN, MPLS); technical knowledge of datacenter rack and power infrastructure and equipment.
  • Familiarity with LOA/CFA, cross-connects, and datacenter environments.
  • Ability to translate engineering requirements into requests for proposal (RFPs) and carrier service orders.
  • Experience in researching, negotiating and leasing space/power for PoPs.
  • Expertise in the end-to-end procurement of subsea, spectrum, and IRU assets; expertise in executing global sourcing initiatives across multiple international markets.
  • Detail oriented with an attested ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
  • Strength working independently and actively with minimal direction.

Ways to stand out from the crowd

  • PM Certification/training a strong plus.
  • Experience with multi-cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet, GCP VPC).
  • Excellent architecture documentation and interpersonal skills; ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
