Details
Bloomberg Media is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of next-generation advertising measurement, targeting, and performance optimization products. The role sits at the intersection of data science, advertising technology, and product innovation, defining how Bloomberg’s advertising clients measure efficiency, optimize campaigns, and activate audiences across platforms with a strong foundation in data integrity, privacy, and transparency.
The role owns the end-to-end product experience for measurement, data, and reporting solutions that enable advertisers and internal stakeholders to derive actionable insights and demonstrate value at scale across display and video. The position works closely with engineering, data science, product marketing, and sales teams to develop scalable, data-driven advertising solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define the strategy and roadmap for Bloomberg’s advertising measurement, data, and targeting products across video and display.
- Develop an understanding of Bloomberg’s advertising platforms, product ecosystem, audiences, and signals, and recommend new opportunities and products.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, privacy-safe measurement and targeting solutions, including attribution, lift testing, marketing mix modeling, and identity resolution frameworks.
- Collaborate with global engineering and data science teams to develop machine-learning-based optimization and targeting capabilities, including modeled audiences and predictive performance insights.
- Drive innovation in advertising reporting through API-based, real-time analytics and performance dashboards that improve transparency and advertiser confidence.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure data products adhere to privacy standards such as GDPR and CCPA, as well as Bloomberg’s internal data governance principles.
- Work cross-functionally across Bloomberg Media, Sales, and Product to ensure measurement solutions drive meaningful business outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Monitor and evolve KPIs including CPA, CPI, ROAS, and engagement metrics.
- Use experimentation frameworks to guide optimization and support campaign ROI.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Insights to build scalable KPI frameworks.
- Represent Bloomberg’s thought leadership in advertising and data measurement, staying current with trends such as cookie deprecation, differential privacy, and clean rooms.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience focused on ad technology, data platforms, or measurement and analytics products.
- Deep understanding of advertising measurement methodologies, including attribution, incrementality, and multi-touch modeling.
- Technical proficiency in APIs, data pipelines, identity systems, and large-scale data architectures.
- Proven ability to translate sophisticated data into actionable insights that inform business and product strategy.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience influencing stakeholders across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Legal.
- Passion for data-driven decision-making and comfort with SQL or data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, including the ability to align diverse teams and present clearly to executives and clients.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics. An MBA is preferred.
