The Mobile team builds observability tools for developers worldwide, processing more than a billion events every day. This role focuses on creating a strong Sentry experience for mobile developers across native and cross-platform environments. Product managers at Sentry provide user, market, and product context rather than independently owning or dictating the roadmap. The role reports to the Director of Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Build and run a system for gathering insights from users, customers, GitHub, product data, competitors, ecosystem trends, and industry shifts.
- Turn research and data into clearly framed problems, opportunities, and trade-offs that inform the Mobile roadmap and prioritization.
- Engage with developers and engineering leaders regularly, represent their needs in internal decisions, test ideas, and maintain alignment on priorities.
- Improve the end-to-end mobile developer experience in collaboration with the Engineering Manager and Mobile engineers.
- Support mobile developers across native iOS and Android and cross-platform technologies including React Native, Flutter, and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
- Partner with engineering and internal stakeholders across the company, building trust through clear communication and reliable execution.
- Use AI to improve discovery, synthesis, and analysis by building repeatable workflows.
- Define measurable objectives connected to customer and business value, track usage and revenue metrics, and turn findings into hypotheses and actions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a mobile developer, with hands-on experience representing the mobile developer persona.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally with B2B SaaS and observability products for mobile platforms.
- Background in mobile software engineering, such as Apple, Android, React Native, or Flutter development.
- Experience speaking directly with customers and conducting continuous product discovery.
- Strong business and product judgment, with an affinity for data, metrics, hypotheses, and evidence-based decision-making.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive outcomes through influence rather than authority and build alignment with engineering and business stakeholders.
- Fluency using AI in daily product management workflows.
- Residence in the Vienna area or willingness to relocate.

The salary range is €89,000–€120,000 gross per year and includes equity eligibility. The legally required minimum wage for the position is €64,554 gross per year in accordance with the Austrian IT collective agreement (IT-KV).
