Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer to help build a creative and scalable Salesforce platform at NVIDIA. This hands-on development position is part of the Sales Operations team and involves working with Salesforce developers, administrators, business analysts, business users, and teams across Sales, Service, IT, Partner Programs, and Enterprise Service.

The role focuses on designing and developing high-performance, scalable applications and features, writing unit tests, optimizing the existing codebase, following coding standards and agile methodologies, and maintaining continuous integration and deployment processes. The position also includes documenting code, creating user guides and test cases, mentoring team members, and contributing to teamwork and technical ideation.

Responsibilities

• Identify business requirements and convert business and functional specifications into detailed technical specifications.
• Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, process design, technical design, and implementation or enhancement of Quote-to-Cash processes using Salesforce CPQ.
• Provide day-to-day Salesforce platform and user support.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using connectors, APIs, web services, and data migrations.
• Implement ETL for data transfers between Salesforce and other systems using tools such as MuleSoft, Workbench, and Data Loader.
• Collaborate with functional teams within Sales Operations, IT, Partner Programs, and Enterprise Service.
• Learn and apply new technologies and Salesforce features to address business problems.
• Mentor team members through code reviews, alternative solution analysis, and enforcement of standard application development methodologies and coding standards.
• Follow agile methodologies, object-oriented design, accepted design patterns, and development best practices.
• Maintain the codebase for continuous integration and deployment, document code, and create user guides and test cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field, verifiable by transcripts, or equivalent experience.
• 12 or more years of experience architecting and designing full-stack solutions using the Salesforce Platform.
• 5 or more years of Salesforce CPQ development experience, including full-cycle Salesforce CPQ project implementations involving configuration, customization, and implementation.
• Extensive knowledge of product configuration and bundles, complex pricing rules and sequences, quote configurator plugins, Advanced Approvals, and Salesforce CPQ APIs.
• Proficiency with perpetual and subscription-based licensing, discounting models, amendments, extensions, co-terming, and renewals.
• Experience migrating from Salesforce CPQ to Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advance (RCA) is preferred.
• Firm grasp of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, SOAP/REST web services, triggers, Cloud Flow Designer, test class design, and debugging.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce objects and data models.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I/II, and Salesforce CPQ Specialist.
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies using Git and AutoRABIT or similar tools.
• Experience performing detailed gap analyses and preparing as-is and to-be process documentation.
• Ability to facilitate decision-making by clearly representing complex technical subjects.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $176,000–$276,000 USD per year, determined by location, experience, and compensation for similar positions.
