Details

NVIDIA's team develops software that powers how ASIC engineers design chips by building tools, automating flows, and co-developing with EDA vendors. The team works across SoC design, RTL, and build infrastructure to identify workflow bottlenecks and develop tools that improve design productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software to automate SoC design and build flows, enabling ASIC engineers to work faster and more reliably.
  • Build new methodologies and tools in pursuit of ASIC design at Speed of Light (SOL).
  • Partner with design and verification engineers to support project execution and identify workflow gaps.
  • Co-develop EDA tool capabilities with vendors to support NVIDIA's SOL requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of EDA tool development experience in the ASIC or SoC design field.
  • Hands-on experience with ASIC or SoC design and verification.
  • Proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Perl, or Tcl.
  • Solid understanding of computer algorithms and data structures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SoC integration, including IP connectivity, clock/reset automation, or top-level design flow.
  • Familiarity with Synopsys Fusion Compiler or similar next-generation design tools.
  • Hands-on use of agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot in day-to-day development.

Benefits

NVIDIA offers a comprehensive benefits package, equity, and competitive salaries. Applications will be accepted at least until July 31, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy. NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes and is an equal opportunity employer.
