Grafana Labs is the company behind the open observability cloud and Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform. We are a 100% remote company with a global team. The Enterprise Solutions Engineering team are in-house, customer-facing product experts who educate potential and existing customers through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing interaction. The team partners closely with Sales and provides feedback into Product Management and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Join an early, high-growth team to solve technical and customer problems.
• Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy.
• Own technical engagement with customers and help close high-velocity opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
• Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and technical evaluations to potential and existing customers.
• Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide product feedback and insight into the competitive landscape.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs uncovered during interactions.
• Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and other public and internal enablement materials.

Requirements

• Ideally located in the Greater New York City or Boston area (role is United States — Remote; East Coast preference).
• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open source technologies or in the metrics/monitoring space.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for collaboration with remote internal teams and worldwide customers.
• Ability to present technical advantages and articulate the value proposition of products.
• A technical mindset with a desire to grow technically; candidates with coding bootcamp, post-sales, or engineering backgrounds may be a fit.
• Self-motivated, initiative-taking, creative, and able to handle varied and complex responsibilities in a startup environment.

Compensation & Rewards

• In the United States the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is $204,000 - $254,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process.
• All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
