Responsibilities

Conduct technical interviews.
Create software, tooling, and distributed systems for automating and managing data center network hardware and compute stacks.
Create and operate shared infrastructure for Stripe's Cardholder Data Environment.
Develop deployment tooling.
Support SOX compliance audit preparation, interviews, and remediations.
Support PCI compliance audit preparation, interviews, and remediations.
Manage projects.
Mentor junior engineers.
Participate in on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least two years of software development experience.
Two years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and Terraform infrastructure automation.
Two years of experience with reliability, scalability, and distributed systems principles.
One year of experience with Go and Ansible.
One year of experience with Puppet host configuration.
One year of experience with Ruby.
One year of experience with Python.
One year of experience mentoring and leading junior software engineers.
One year of experience performing 24/7 on-call rotations to support high-availability software systems.
One year of experience with monitoring and logging tools.
One year of experience with computer networking concepts.
One year of experience with the Linux operating system and subsystems.
One year of experience with cloud and application security best practices.
One year of experience with PCI compliance monitoring, audit processes, and evidence collection.

Compensation and Work Schedule

Salary: $190,400.00–$285,600.00 per year.
40 hours per week.
50% remote work permitted.
Multiple positions available.
