Details

NVIDIA is seeking a QA Engineer to join its software and firmware testing team. The role focuses on testing networking features, conducting manual and automated tests, and contributing to automation systems that help NVIDIA products meet high standards for efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Review architecture, design, and requirements documents for new features across multiple domains, including NVIDIA networking switches and related systems.
  • Maintain existing infrastructure and plan future lab engagements.
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for initial releases and ongoing firmware updates.
  • Develop and maintain automated frameworks, expanding existing infrastructure with new capabilities to improve coverage, stability, and efficiency.
  • Report bugs, assist with reproduction and debugging to identify root causes, verify fixes provided by the R&D team, and raise issues when fixes are unsuccessful.
  • Conduct regression, performance, functional, and security testing.
  • Track testing progress and generate summary reports of testing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong familiarity with QA methodologies, test design, bug prioritization, and software release workflows.
  • Extensive knowledge of network switch configuration and debugging, including VLAN and switch ports.
  • Linux administration knowledge.
  • Experience with engineering lab environments for product bring-up and development.
  • Ability to plan and execute tasks independently.
  • Good interpersonal skills; quick learner; proactive, innovative, highly motivated, and committed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience with QA methodologies and test design.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple parallel activities.
  • Experience with release management, verification and validation, and end-to-end testing.
  • Scripting skills and proven experience with Python or other programming languages.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
