Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Integrations Engineer to join the GTM Tools & Technology team. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of Revenue Operations and internal software engineering. The role involves owning the architecture and delivery of integrations across the go-to-market stack while building internal GTM tooling to reduce unnecessary SaaS spend.

This is a builder role requiring production Python development, data modeling, collaboration with Revenue Operations and Finance stakeholders, and technical leadership for a fast-moving team. The successful candidate will be comfortable designing CRM data flows and shipping internal applications from scratch.

Responsibilities

Integrations Engineering

  • Architect and own end-to-end integrations across Salesforce, Snowflake or BigQuery, Slack, Grafana, and billing and finance systems.
  • Define and enforce integration patterns and API standards across the GTM stack.
  • Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for integration failures.
  • Improve observability and alerting for integrations.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and rationalize third-party connectors, middleware, and iPaaS tooling using build-versus-buy criteria.

Internal Tooling and Platform

  • Design and ship internal applications that replace SaaS point solutions, reduce costs, consolidate workflows, and increase team leverage.
  • Establish internal development practices covering code standards, CI/CD, deployment patterns, and documentation.
  • Use AI and LLM capabilities, including APIs and agentic workflows, to accelerate internal tool development and automate repetitive operations work.
  • Maintain a deprecation roadmap tied to measurable SaaS spend reduction targets.
  • Use modern AI coding assistants within security guidelines, supported by a company-funded usage budget.
  • Apply AI-assisted development for prototyping, test generation, refactoring, documentation, and incident follow-ups, alongside code review and quality standards.
  • Access frontier models including GPT-Codex 5/3, Claude Opus 4.7, and Gemini 3 Pro.

Architecture and Technical Leadership

  • Set the technical direction for data sharing across GTM systems.
  • Define canonical data models, source-of-truth ownership, and synchronization strategies.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide architectural guidance to engineers, RevOps analysts, and technical stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and remediate technical debt.
  • Advocate for engineering rigor within a primarily non-engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on systems integration and/or internal platform development.
  • Expert-level Python experience writing production code, not only scripts.
  • Experience with Java and JavaScript.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce, including its data model, APIs, and automation.
  • Experience with at least one cloud data warehouse, such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • Proven experience building internal tooling that replaced or significantly reduced reliance on commercial SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, API design, event-driven architectures, and ETL/ELT patterns.
  • Experience integrating billing, finance, or quote-to-cash systems such as Stripe, NetSuite, or Zuora.
  • Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments, scope work independently, and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical GTM and finance stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with GTM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or Gainsight.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with frontend frameworks and tooling, including React, Slack Block Kit, or dashboard components.
  • Experience with vector databases or retrieval pipelines, such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or pgvector.
  • Experience automating sales, customer success, or marketing workflows in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Workato, Prefect, Clay, PhantomBuster, Apify, or Dust.
  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol or similar standards for connecting AI systems to data sources and tools.
  • Experience with AI observability tools such as LangSmith, Weights & Biases, or custom logging and evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Analytics, or Sales Operations environments.
  • Previous experience in open source or developer-focused SaaS companies.

Benefits

  • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) for all roles.
  • 100% remote work and a global culture.
  • In-person onboarding.
  • Global annual leave policy of 30 days per year, including 3 Grafana Shutdown Days, subject to local legislation.
  • Career growth pathways, transparent communication, and an innovation-driven environment.

The role is remote and currently open to applicants in United States time zones only.
