This role is a builder-minded Startup Partnerships lead to drive the adoption of Claude within the French and Southern European startup ecosystem. You will design and execute programs that enable startups to access and build with Claude across France and expand into Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, and beyond). You will partner with French VCs, accelerators, and startup customers, operate hands-on with data (building dashboards and writing SQL), and lead cross-functional coordination across Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Corporate Development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Anthropic’s startup GTM strategy for France and Southern Europe, identify and prioritise AI-native startups, and build tiered engagement programmes.
• Build strategic partnerships with leading French VCs (Lightspeed, Partech, Elaia, Eurazeo, Serena Capital, Breega, Singular), design and launch strategic programmes, own relationships end-to-end, and negotiate partnership terms.
• Create startup-focused offerings, pricing models, and growth initiatives in partnership with accelerators and entrepreneurial communities (Station F, La French Tech, BPI France, Agoranov).
• Build and maintain analytics infrastructure: design Hex dashboards, write SQL queries, and use data to drive programme optimisation and measure ROI.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Corporate Development to align on activation and account penetration.
• Design and execute ecosystem events and community-building activities (builder summits, founder salons, hackathons, demo days) across Paris and other tech hubs (Paris, Milan, Lyon, Toulouse, Bordeaux).
• Represent Anthropic at flagship events (VivaTech, France Digitale Day, France is AI, Web Summit) and partner with accelerators/incubators to identify AI builders.
• Own executive stakeholder management, stakeholder maps, and executive communication strategies for VC and ecosystem partners.
• Stand up partner processes from 0 to 1 (deal registration, reporting, funding programmes) and gather product feedback to inform the product roadmap.
• Create enablement content, documentation, and trainings (technical content localized for French market where appropriate) and partner with Sales, Solutions, Product, and Events on integrated activation strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, founder/operator roles, growth, or technical GTM roles — builders, not traditional partnership profiles.
• Native French proficiency and fluent English.
• SQL proficiency and comfort building Hex dashboards; responsible for own analytics and programme measurement.
• Deep understanding of the French and European startup ecosystem and AI/ML technology landscape; ability to speak credibly about technical products to technical audiences.
• Experience building relationships with French or European VCs, working at a VC firm, or partnering with accelerators to drive portfolio engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to build 0-to-1 programmes, wear multiple hats, and scale based on data.
• Proven ability to develop and execute complex, cross-functional go-to-market programmes.
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation

• Annual Salary: €160,000 - €215,000 EUR

Logistics & Policy

• Location: Paris, France. Location-based hybrid policy: staff are expected to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time (some roles may require more office time).
• Education: At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
• Visa sponsorship: Anthropic states that they do sponsor visas and retain an immigration lawyer to assist, though they note not every role/candidate may be successfully sponsored.
