Within the Mortgages Data Domain, Data & AI are used to fundamentally improve how clients and employees experience services. The organization is accelerating its transition towards a data- and AI-driven organization, making insights available at critical moments in the mortgage journey.

As a Domain Expert (Data & AI), you will operate at the intersection of business, data, and strategy. You will identify high-value opportunities, shape compelling AI use cases, and translate complex challenges into scalable solutions. You will bring a consulting mindset by structuring ambiguity, building strong business cases, and driving measurable impact end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases, translating business challenges into actionable Data & AI solutions.
• Build structured business cases covering problem framing, value drivers, ROI, and risks.
• Lead the structuring and delivery of initiatives, focusing on activities that drive impact.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, Product Owners, and data teams to drive execution end-to-end.
• Act as a trusted advisor who confidently challenges and guides decision-making.
• Serve as the go-to AI expert within the data domain, inspiring teams and elevating AI literacy.
• Drive and shape the broader AI strategy and roadmap.
• Move between strategic discussions and hands-on execution, bringing clarity to complex situations.

Working Environment

You will join a team of domain experts and collaborate with colleagues across the organization. The Data Domain Mortgages is part of the Chief Data and Technology Officer organization within ABN AMRO Mortgages. You will help shape the future data landscape and develop new AI and analytics solutions supporting customers and employees.

Key stakeholders include Chief Operations & Distribution, the Chief Data & Technology Office, the AI community, and senior management.

Requirements

• A master's degree (WO) and at least five years of experience, ideally in top-tier consulting or similar environments.
• Proven experience with Generative AI, data platforms, and analytics.
• A strong track record in structuring complex problems, building business cases, and influencing senior decision-making.
• Experience driving Data & AI use case development from concept through implementation.
• Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders at senior management team or executive committee level.
• Strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
• Fluency in English and comfort working in Dutch.
