Details

SpaceXAI seeks extraordinary students to join its Summer 2027 software engineering roles. Interns will work closely with mentors and other employees to apply their knowledge and develop their skills on impactful projects. The organization values engineering excellence, curiosity, initiative, strong prioritization, hands-on contribution, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

Contribute to software engineering projects with significant impact.
Apply academic knowledge to real-world software development.
Work closely with mentors and team members.
Create software documentation, system diagrams, and software requirements when needed.
Debug software, optimize performance, and write unit tests.
Work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree or graduate program.
At least 3 months of software programming or development experience.
Software coding experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Ability to work full time onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June 2027.

Preferred Skills And Experience

GPA of 3.5 or above.
At least 6 months of experience developing and deploying software used in real-world applications and projects.
Strong fundamental knowledge of computer architecture and networks.
Strong debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to take initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
