Details

Technical Program Managers must have demonstrated experience leading large, cross-organizational software development projects and a deep technical background. They must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment without being hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. The role requires the ability to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives while also contributing hands-on to driving change. Knowledge of agile project management and release schedules is required.

Responsibilities

Interact with project sponsors and stakeholders to define and deliver projects.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, and balance business needs against technical constraints.
Identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner.
Understand the architectural and technical aspects of projects with strong curiosity and engagement.
Apply software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices based on experience with agile and blended approaches.
Coordinate implementations across teams using different development approaches.
Build and maintain integrated project schedules that account for internal and external dependencies, differing SDLC approaches, numerous constraints, and contingency for unplanned delays while remaining aggressive.
