Details

This role leads large, cross-organizational software development projects in an entrepreneurial environment. The position requires a deep technical background, the ability to drive strategic initiatives, and a willingness to work hands-on to implement change. Required knowledge includes agile project management and release schedules.

Responsibilities

Interact with project sponsors and stakeholders to define and deliver projects.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, and balance business needs against technical constraints.
Identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner.
Understand the architectural and technical aspects of projects.
Apply software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices based on experience with agile and blended approaches.
Coordinate implementations across teams using different delivery approaches.
Build and maintain integrated project schedules that account for internal and external dependencies, differing SDLC approaches, numerous constraints, and contingency for unplanned delays while maintaining an aggressive timeline.
