Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform used by businesses to accept payments, grow revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. The Docs Content team helps developers and everyday users adopt Stripe products through high-quality documentation.

Responsibilities

Document Stripe products, including conceptual overviews, task-based guides, APIs, and tutorials for different products.
Maintain content quality through curation, user feedback, and content performance analysis.
Work with developers, product teams, and support engineers to ensure documentation accuracy and content expertise.
Deliver results in a dynamic work environment with significant autonomy.
Develop and implement new ways to deliver, author, analyze, and interact with technical content.

Requirements

4+ years of technical writing experience.
Ability to collaborate, partner with, and learn from other skilled technical writers.
Proficiency in HTML and Markdown.
Familiarity with Git and Visual Studio Code (VSCode).
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and precisely.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with backend languages such as Ruby, Go, Python, PHP, Node.js, or Java.
Experience with large information architecture projects.
Experience balancing multiple product launches.
Experience working with a team of technical writers.
