The AI Deployment team helps organizations turn OpenAI products into sustained impact through enablement and training execution. The team partners with enterprises to translate OpenAI technology into durable capabilities through structured training, technical enablement, and scalable deployment programs.

This specialist post-sales enablement role focuses on delivering high-impact enablement and adoption services across OpenAI's product suite, including ChatGPT Enterprise and Agents. The role combines product fluency, instructional design, and customer advisory to deliver workshops, services, and adoption interventions for business users, technical practitioners, and executive leaders.

The position is based in San Francisco and follows a hybrid work model requiring three days in the office per week.

Responsibilities

• Own enablement for OpenAI products, including ChatGPT Enterprise and Agents, and define enablement patterns that support adoption across enterprise business and technical teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for designated product areas, building product expertise, supporting internal enablement, identifying customer use cases, and aggregating customer feedback for product development.
• Lead customer enablement across the full lifecycle, from onboarding through expansion, optimization, and long-term adoption.
• Design and deliver onboarding sessions, advanced capability training, executive briefings, hackathons, and hands-on workshops for senior leaders and working teams.
• Drive customer activation, sustained usage, and measurable business value through structured enablement programs.
• Partner with Sales, Solution Architects, and Delivery Leads to drive adoption across the core product suite.
• Develop reusable training assets, playbooks, and best practices based on customer and regional patterns.
• Gather and synthesize customer feedback from training and enablement engagements and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Fluent business-level Japanese for engagement with Japanese-speaking customers.
• Six or more years of experience in customer-facing, enablement, or instructional roles involving C-level, business, and technical audiences in complex enterprise environments.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, particularly when translating AI capabilities into practical value for senior and executive audiences.
• Strong product fluency across ChatGPT, Agents, and the broader OpenAI ecosystem, with a practical understanding of applying AI capabilities to real-world workflows and enterprise use cases.
• Experience leading workshops and enablement programs, including designing learning journeys, facilitating live sessions, and responding to questions in real time.
• Ability to identify patterns across customers and translate them into scalable approaches that improve adoption.
• Ability to connect product capabilities to business outcomes such as productivity gains, operational efficiency, cost reduction, risk mitigation, or revenue impact.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new information, shifting priorities, and real-time questions in live customer environments.
