Details

You'll join Collibra's People Solutions team, which is moving beyond basic SaaS administration into a strategic People function where automation drives efficiency for the global workforce. Reporting to the Senior Manager, People Solutions, you will own meaningful parts of the Workday ecosystem and have the opportunity to grow into broader responsibilities over time.

This is a hybrid role based in Collibra's Raleigh office, with at least two days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Build automations and agentic workflow prototypes using tools such as Workato and Claude to connect Workday, an applicant tracking system, and other People Technology systems.
  • Own Workday business process configuration and security group architecture, including periodic access reviews and segregation-of-duties checks.
  • Develop Workday reports and calculated fields that provide stakeholders with actionable and reliable data.
  • Partner with People and Places, IT, and other teams to troubleshoot complex configuration and data issues.
  • Test and deploy new functionality while protecting existing processes.
  • Prototype automations for People Operations processes such as talent acquisition and onboarding.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience configuring Workday business processes.
  • Workday security architecture experience is a plus but is not required.
  • Experience building Workday reports or calculated fields, or a strong aptitude to develop these skills quickly.
  • Experience with an iPaaS or automation tool such as Workato is a plus.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system such as Greenhouse or a similar platform is a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or Copilot to solve business challenges, drive measurable outcomes, or streamline workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
  • Ability to translate technical configuration changes for non-technical business partners.
  • Proactive approach to data integrity and sound judgment when handling ambiguous configuration requests.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Measures of Success

  • Within the first month, become oriented with the Workday, ATS, and Workato environments; shadow existing automations and business process configuration; and complete security and access training.
  • Within the third month, ship a first Workato automation or agentic workflow and independently handle configuration and reporting requests for the assigned area.
  • Within the sixth month, build at least one automation extending beyond Workday and the ATS into another People Operations process, such as talent acquisition, and take on increased ownership of business process and security scope.

Compensation

The standard base salary range is $100,000–$120,000 per year. The position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on factors including experience, skills, and location.

Additional total rewards may include bonus potential, equity for eligible roles, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension or 401(k) plans, health coverage, and time off.

Benefits

Collibra offers flexible benefits designed to support employees and their loved ones through diverse circumstances and life events. The company is an equal opportunity employer and provides accommodations for applicants who require them.
