Do you want to be part of the Data & AI revolution and help unlock the power of data and AI at ABN AMRO’s Central Data & AI Office (CDAO)? In this role, you support the bank’s strategy by creating clear insight into progress and performance, enabling effective steering toward a fully data- and AI-driven organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Create clear and coherent reporting on the state of data management and AI across the bank.
  • Work with Performance Management and Portfolio Management to translate KPIs, roadmaps, and delivery status into actionable management narratives.
  • Combine input from CDO, Data Domains, Platforms & Technology, and Architecture into concise, structured messages for senior stakeholders, including CDO leadership and the Executive Board.
  • Provide a consistent and reliable view of data and AI performance and commitments toward the organisation and regulators.
  • Identify inconsistencies, bottlenecks, risks, gaps, dependencies, and misalignments, and clearly communicate required actions and trade-offs.
  • Support fact-based decision-making, prioritisation, escalation, and intervention.
  • Prepare and guide performance dialogues to establish a shared understanding of the current state and next steps.
  • Simplify and harmonise how information is structured and communicated across the organisation.

Work Environment

You will join the Portfolio Management team within the CDAO organisation. The role involves working across the bank in a complex stakeholder environment and requires strong coordination skills and the ability to connect insights across domains and organisational levels. The team is diverse, collaborative, transparent, and focused on continuously improving reporting, steering, and the use of organisational insight.

Requirements

  • Passion for data management, AI, reporting, or a related field of expertise.
  • Strong ability to translate data and stakeholder input into clear insights and narratives.
  • Experience working with metrics, roadmaps, and execution data and interpreting them into meaningful messages.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and structured approach, with the ability to connect topics across domains.
  • Proactive approach and ability to drive alignment and clarity in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of senior stakeholders’ strategic priorities and decision-making needs.
  • Understanding of banking and the impact of data and AI in banking.

  • Gross monthly salary of €6,066–€8,666 based on a 36-hour work week, including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget.
