Details

SentinelOne is seeking an Engagement Manager for its Compromise Assessments team. The role manages consulting-style cybersecurity engagements and serves as the primary link between threat hunters, customers, and internal stakeholders. Engagements deliver telemetry-driven threat hunts, including M&A, post-breach, and insider threat assessments.

This is a technical role requiring practitioner-level expertise to quality-control threat hunter analysis and reporting, support customers and internal teams, and provide hands-on surge capacity for telemetry analysis. Engagement Managers may also support engagements delivered through SentinelOne's AI-accelerated source code vulnerability assessment offering as capacity requires.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee telemetry-based compromise assessment engagements from intake through delivery, ensuring quality, timely deliverables, and adherence to engagement minimums and scoping standards.
  • Lead scoping and business development activities, including requirements gathering and coordinating telemetry access with customers, account teams, and assigned threat hunters.
  • Staff threat hunters onto engagements based on scope and availability, and monitor team capacity to balance workloads.
  • Manage customer communication throughout each engagement, including status updates and review calls, and own customer escalations end-to-end.
  • Oversee evidence and data handling, including retention and deletion timelines at engagement closure and customer requests for early deletion.
  • Serve as a knowledge resource for customers and internal teams on Compromise Assessments services and capabilities.
  • Drive process improvement by maintaining internal documentation and iterating on the delivery playbook.
  • Manage retainer-hour budgets, track usage against scope, and request uplifts when needed.
  • Quality-control technical analysis and reports before delivery.
  • Provide hands-on surge support for telemetry analysis when team capacity requires it.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on practitioner experience in threat hunting, security analysis, or incident response.
  • Engagement or project management experience in cybersecurity consulting, incident response, or related security services delivery.
  • Deep technical expertise in endpoint telemetry analysis and threat hunting.
  • Strong staffing and resource-coordination skills.
  • Excellent client communication skills and comfort working with executive stakeholders, account teams, and, where applicable, legal counsel.
  • Experience owning customer escalations end-to-end.
  • Experience contributing to team documentation and process improvement.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable collaborating with fellow Engagement Managers.
  • Ability to translate complex technical findings into business impact for non-technical stakeholders.
