Join Nord Security's Threat Intelligence team to lead multiple engineering teams responsible for building and operating products focused on privacy, security, and online protection.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow multiple teams within Threat Intelligence, building teams that consistently deliver and stay motivated.
  • Define clear ownership boundaries between teams using approaches such as RACI or DACI.
  • Connect team roadmaps and priorities to the company's vision and goals.
  • Drive alignment with other departments and stakeholders so Threat Intelligence work integrates with broader product and company strategy.
  • Champion the adoption of AI tools across teams to improve engineering and research efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to automate or accelerate existing workflows.
  • Establish strong operational discipline, including proactive monitoring, early issue detection, and ownership of the health of systems built and operated by the teams.
  • Maintain accountability for team delivery and production stability.
  • Create a motivating environment where people understand the reasons behind priorities and take ownership of outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering management, including experience managing managers or multiple teams simultaneously.
  • A strong track record of building high-ownership, high-accountability teams that reliably deliver.
  • Experience designing clear ownership models across multiple teams and avoiding overlaps or gaps in responsibility.
  • Ability to translate company-level strategy into team-level priorities and maintain alignment across multiple teams.
  • Experience driving process improvements, operational rigor, and incident or production ownership practices, including on-call discipline, postmortems, and proactive monitoring.
  • Practical experience introducing or scaling AI tools within engineering or research workflows.
  • A solid working understanding of software engineering and data-driven systems. Deep computer science expertise in algorithms or low-level systems design is not required.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, onboarding, professional development, and communicating the reasoning behind decisions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience in threat intelligence, cybersecurity, or Internet security is a plus but not mandatory.
