We are looking for an enthusiastic GenAI Engineer professional to join the Intelligent Automation Team. The team helps meet increasing demand from the business, supports a rapidly growing portfolio of automation, and makes an impact across every business area at Booking.com. It operates as a service provider for the entire company with a large degree of autonomy and entrepreneurship.

Develop and deploy GenAI and agentic applications at scale.
Design end-to-end, production-grade AI applications with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, Node.js, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
Build retrieval-augmented generation applications using vectors, chunking, and embedding strategies.
Apply knowledge-graph-grounded AI answering techniques to manage hallucinations.
Manage evaluations and drift for agentic applications.
Build skills and agent specifications using harness engineering.
Build custom MCPs and use out-of-the-box MCPs.
Design, implement, and maintain DAGs, operators, sensors, and connections, including retries, SLAs, and backfills.
Work with secrets and authorization technologies.

Requirements

Hands-on experience developing and deploying GenAI and agentic applications at scale.
Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, Node.js, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic frameworks.
Experience building skills and agent specifications.
Experience with custom MCPs and out-of-the-box MCPs.
Advanced SQL and experience with Snowflake and REST APIs.
Experience with AWS services including RDS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
Experience deploying GenAI applications with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and GitHub; advanced Kubernetes experience is required.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Arize, Grafana, Loki, Mimir, and Prometheus.
Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar IDEs.
Proficiency in core Python libraries.
Experience with Vault, Passport, and Okta for secrets and authorization.
Exposure to Terraform for deploying AWS infrastructure is beneficial.
