The IT Services and Support team provides seamless, efficient, and reliable IT solutions across the organization. The team handles frontline IT support, vendor relationships, equipment inventory, and process and documentation improvements to enhance the employee experience.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. You will resolve incoming support requests, coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement, repairs, and maintenance, and participate in process and systems improvement initiatives. The role requires strong macOS expertise, ideally with Windows experience, as well as clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This role is based out of the Bellevue, San Francisco, or Mountain View office and requires five days in the office per week.

Responsibilities

  • Improve support systems and processes by identifying opportunities for improvement, creating and maintaining repeatable workflows such as onboarding and device imaging, and contributing ideas during IT team meetings.
  • Collaborate with Security, Facilities, People Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Clearly communicate issues, potential solutions, and timelines to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Ensure prompt and reliable resolution of employee support requests.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Manage hardware and software inventories to maintain secure, up-to-date, and standardized systems.
  • Support high-production all-hands events, including audiovisual and technical aspects.
  • Mentor junior team members, automate workflows using scripting or low-code tools, and manage IT projects where applicable.

Requirements

  • Strong technical expertise in macOS and working knowledge of Windows.
  • Experience with identity and device management technologies such as Azure AD, Jamf, and Intune.
  • Experience with enterprise collaboration tools including Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack, and Atlassian products.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in Mac and macOS environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical details clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Customer-first mindset, proactive approach, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
