Anthropic is seeking a Product Manager to bring Claude Tag to where work collaboration happens. Claude Tag is a multiplayer, proactive agent that lives in collaboration tools. Anthropic's internal version writes 65% of merged product pull requests and is used for data analysis, prototyping, legal ticket review, customer support, and many other tasks. After launching on Slack, the team is expanding Claude Tag to additional surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Define Claude Tag's core interactions on new surfaces and tailor the interaction model to each surface.
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for bringing Claude Tag to collaboration surfaces beyond Slack.
  • Own external partnerships that enable new surfaces, from initial conversation through shipped integration.
  • Drive adoption from design partners through scaled rollout at the largest companies.
  • Work with early adopters, customize interaction paradigms, design onboarding experiences, and collaborate with external partners.
  • Build relationships with top customers to inform product evolution.
  • Work with engineers to debug permissions issues and model behavior.
  • Present product strategy to executives.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of combined product management experience, or equivalent experience driving product direction.
  • Experience shipping platform integrations or ecosystem products and owning partner relationships.
  • Strong instincts for multiplayer and collaborative product design, where experiences are shared and public rather than private.
  • Strong understanding of model capabilities and the ability to work fluently with engineering teams on technical products.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments and bringing structure to them.
  • A creative, hacker spirit and enthusiasm for solving puzzles.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A field of study relevant to the role, demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Work Policy

Staff are expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time, although some roles may require more office attendance. The role is listed for San Francisco and Seattle, with San Francisco and New York City also shown in the job locations.
