About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Test Lead with domain expertise in BSA/AML, Transaction Monitoring, and Sanctions Screening. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end testing, data validation, and UAT coordination of Financial Crime systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations, including FFIEC, DFS, and AML policies.

The role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to work effectively with Business, Technology, Operations, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end testing activities across project deliveries, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production validation.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, schedules, and testing governance artifacts.
  • Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and dependent applications.
  • Define test scope, entry and exit criteria, test scenarios, and test execution approaches.
  • Perform functional, manual, and exploratory testing to validate business workflows.
  • Execute and maintain regression and sanity test suites.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue management throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Ensure business sign-off and production readiness.
  • Log, track, and manage defects in tools such as ADO and JIRA.
  • Work closely with development, business analysis, and business teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
  • Ensure proper test evidence and audit documentation for compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Operations teams.
  • Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and demos.
  • Communicate test progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Ingenious, or similar frameworks.
  • Participate in automation framework design and enhancement.
  • Execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with test management tools such as ADO and JIRA.
  • Hands-on experience with UI and API automation tools, including Selenium, Playwright, Ingenious, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.
  • Proven experience coordinating UAT and engaging stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in test case design, defect lifecycle management, and reporting.
  • Experience with BSA/AML compliance frameworks, Transaction Monitoring systems, and Sanctions Screening or OFAC filtering.
  • Strong understanding of AML typologies, suspicious activity detection, and regulatory frameworks such as FFIEC and DFS.
  • Proven experience coordinating UAT with Compliance and Risk teams.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into test scenarios.
  • Strong communication skills across business, IT, and audit stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional, global teams.
  • High attention to quality, traceability, and audit readiness.
  • Ability to improve automation coverage and efficiency and drive predictable delivery outcomes across releases.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with financial crime tools such as Actimize, Mantas, Quantexa, or Bridger by LexisNexis.
  • Experience with regulatory programs or audit remediation initiatives.

Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $90–$108
