Details

SAP Business Solutions is responsible for the design, build, and support of SAP modules and their integration with other SAP modules and legacy systems. The role focuses on SAP Sales and Distribution configuration, subscription-based and usage-based billing, and end-to-end billing process optimization.

Responsibilities

Configure SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) for billing, pricing, and order management, with a strong focus on subscription-based and usage-based billing models.
Design and optimize end-to-end billing processes, including order capture, pricing, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, leveraging standard SAP functionality whenever possible.
Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
Evaluate new SAP functionality and innovation opportunities within sophisticated system landscapes integrated with legacy systems.
Lead requirements-gathering sessions and issue resolution activities.
Manage projects using a formal methodology, including requirements gathering, design, SAP configuration, testing, training, and cutover.
Prepare and execute unit and integration test cases, collect results, and manage defects.
Document designs and solutions in detail.
Train users on systems, processes, and procedures, including preparing user guides and demonstrations.
Work independently and collaboratively within a highly collaborative team.

Requirements

10+ years of SAP configuration experience, specializing in subscription-based and usage-based billing functionality and tools.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Operations, or an equivalent field.
Project management experience using a formal project methodology.
Experience collecting and documenting detailed business requirements and translating them into system requirements.
Experience with unit and integration testing, including test preparation, execution, results collection, and defect management.
Strong organizational, documentation, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience with SAP BRIM, including Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and Subscription Order Management (SOM).
Experience with subscription and usage-based billing platforms such as Zuora, BillingPlatform, Aria Systems, or Gotransverse.
Experience with leading CPQ platforms.
Experience training users and preparing training materials.
Ability to stay current with new SAP functionality and understand complex system landscapes integrated with legacy systems.
