Details
As a Senior Agile Coach within the strategic Agile@Booking programme, you will partner with Strategy, Business Operations, Project/Program Management, and Change Management functions to enable and activate the outcomes of the [email protected] program.
You will provide strategic training and coaching to facilitate the delivery of large-scale, cross-horizontal programs of work. The role focuses on moving beyond local optimisation to drive agile ways of working across large programs. By enabling these functions, you will help ensure the execution of complex programs aligns with organisational objectives and the objectives of the [email protected] program.
A proven background in portfolio management, running large-scale programs of work, and Agile Coaching is essential.
Responsibilities
- Enable Strategy, Business Operations, Project/Program Management, and Change Management functions to adopt [email protected] practices, ensuring alignment with organisational agility goals.
- Coach leadership and program managers on portfolio management at scale, providing guidance to structure and execute complex programs across horizontals that align with the goals of the [email protected] program.
- Foster systemic improvements by identifying and addressing structural barriers that impact portfolio performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement governance models that support effective decision-making and cross-functional alignment.
- Embed transformation baseline training into practice by working with SBOPC to apply and reinforce the training programme content, ensuring agile values, principles, practices, mindsets, and concepts are translated into meaningful day-to-day practices that drive change and improvement.
- Act as a strategic partner to SBOPC leadership, providing guidance on organisational design and flow optimisation at the program level.
- Design and facilitate coaching interventions for senior stakeholders to reinforce [email protected] principles within large-scale initiatives.
- Collaborate with trainers and internal and other Agile Coaches, maintaining close alignment with trainers who will co-deliver baseline knowledge to ensure continuity between training delivery and in-team coaching.
- Work with other contractor and FTE Agile Coaches in the program to identify opportunities for improvement and implement them where necessary.
- Contribute to a coaching community by actively participating in the business-unit coaching community, sharing insights, challenges, and successes. Work collaboratively with peers to align coaching approaches, learn from one another, and improve practices across teams within the area of focus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred.
- Skilled in Agile Coaching.
- Skilled in portfolio and program management.
