Details

This 6-month contract role provides design capacity for the Grow & Connect area of Cars, supporting up to three product teams delivering on their H1 2027 roadmap. You will work across initiatives connecting the traveller journey across the Booking.com ecosystem, including integrations with new tools and technologies, landing page experiences, and partnerships with external platforms.

Responsibilities

Collaborate simultaneously with at least two product teams, using strong asynchronous communication and maintaining clarity across initiatives.
Run research and testing to validate design decisions.
Present findings to product, engineering, and commercial stakeholders.
Create high-quality design assets, prototypes, and documentation.
Advocate for user needs and design quality alongside business metrics.
Apply Booking.com's design systems, brand standards, and accessibility principles consistently.
Work with the GPM and product teams during the first two to three weeks to define design priorities and understand the current state.
Own design delivery across initiatives that help travellers find and add the most suitable ground transportation method for their trip.

Requirements

Experience as a designer, with the ability to work autonomously and at pace in a contract role.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with product managers, engineers, designers, and commercial partners.
Confidence running research, testing, and presentations for diverse stakeholders.
Proactive stakeholder management, particularly with senior product and cross-business-unit leaders.
Familiarity with the travel or booking domain is preferred but not required.
Comfort with Figma, prototyping tools, and modern design practices, including Claude and Figma AI features.
