Details

At NordLayer, you will lead the Observability squad, responsible for transforming raw network security and browser telemetry into actionable insights for IT and security teams. The role sits at the intersection of data, security, and user experience, shaping how organisations understand network access, browser activity, SaaS and extension usage, and risk signals through dashboards, widgets, and other visualisations.

Responsibilities

Own product discovery, validation, and roadmap planning, turning insights into shipped value.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build, improve, and evolve services.
Partner with research, sales, marketing, legal, security, and data stakeholders to drive aligned outcomes.
Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and actionable user stories.
Own and manage the product backlog for the domain, including prioritisation.
Work closely with engineering to define solutions and ensure efficient, high-quality delivery.
Act as the go-to person for the product domain, providing clarity and direction.
Communicate progress, priorities, and outcomes regularly to ensure transparency.

Requirements

Experience in product management or product ownership, with a focus on digital products and technologies.
A strong sense of ownership and commitment, with the ability to plan work effectively.
Technical fluency, including the ability to discuss APIs, data handling, and UX flows with engineers without necessarily coding.
Proven knowledge of Scrum and Agile development practices.
A positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in English.

Bonus Qualifications

Familiarity with cybersecurity and network security principles.
Previous experience with data aggregation and visualisation.
