Promptwatch helps businesses understand how they appear in AI-generated answers by tracking citations, sentiment, and visibility across major AI engines. The platform processes billions of crawler logs and AI responses in real time and is used by thousands of companies.

Responsibilities

Take features from problem definition through production by scoping them with product and design, building the schema, writing the API, shipping the UI, and monitoring the result in production.
Design and improve data pipelines that move millions of records through Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis, and ClickHouse daily.
Build and operate microservices on Google Cloud, including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and CI/CD.
Maintain observability using Sentry, structured logging, and custom dashboards.
Contribute to code review standards, testing practices, and technical direction.
Work directly with the founding team, with no layers of management between you and key decisions.

Requirements

Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js; the company uses Fastify, but experience with other frameworks can transfer.
Experience designing and querying relational databases, particularly Postgres with Prisma.
Experience building APIs using tRPC, REST, GraphQL, or a combination.
Familiarity with job queues, asynchronous processing, or event-driven architectures.
A habit of writing tests and conducting thoughtful code reviews.
Senior-level experience, specified as 9+ years of experience.

Nice to Have

Experience with Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, or other analytical datastores.
Experience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Recharts or D3.
Experience with monorepo tooling such as Turborepo or pnpm workspaces.
Google Cloud Platform experience.

Technology Stack

The platform includes API servers, an AI gateway, ingest pipelines, and log-processing services. Testing tools include Vitest and Playwright.
