Details

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Enterprise Product team bridges Stripe's core capabilities and the bespoke needs of the world's largest organizations. This role will own product strategy and execution for priority industry verticals, initially focusing on complex, regulated industries such as insurance, healthcare, and the public sector.

Responsibilities

Own the industry product roadmap and define and execute a multi-year product strategy for an assigned priority vertical.
Translate the "where to play and how to win" thesis into a concrete roadmap, deciding what Stripe builds natively, what is solved through platform extensibility, and where Stripe partners.
Own measurable outcomes tied to revenue, adoption, and merchant satisfaction.
Identify unmet needs through customer research, data analysis, and market intelligence.
Lead the full product lifecycle for industry-relevant functionality, from problem definition and technical scoping with engineering through PRD development, API and UX design, build, launch, and post-launch iteration.
Make hands-on decisions about scope, technical approach, and sequencing with the engineering team.
Work closely with customers, partners, and go-to-market teams to translate market needs into product requirements.
Define data models and integration patterns required by enterprise customers.
Influence Stripe's core product teams, including Payments, Billing, and Connect, to address enterprise customer requirements.
Develop a deep understanding of Stripe's APIs, infrastructure constraints, and extensibility model to advocate for changes with technical specificity.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

12+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping successful products in complex, regulated environments.
Technical fluency, including the ability to read an API specification, reason about system design trade-offs, and participate effectively in engineering discussions.
Experience shipping products where how the product is built was as important as what was built.
Strong customer focus and the ability to distill complex customer pain points into clear product requirements.
Analytical rigor, including experience defining metrics frameworks, analyzing usage data, and making quantitative product investment decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and strategic concepts through precise, persuasive writing.
Ability to build consensus across teams and drive momentum without formal authority.
Entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, strong prioritization skills, and experience operating with limited resources.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building products in Healthtech, Insurtech, the public sector, or similarly complex, regulated industries.
Experience building platform, API, or developer-facing products.
Experience working closely with enterprise sales teams and C-suite stakeholders at Fortune 500 companies.
