Bloomberg Enterprise Technology Solutions helps financial institutions simplify complex technology ecosystems through integration solutions, connectivity services, and technical expertise. The team provides hosted solutions and industry expertise that enable organizations to build scalable, efficient technology infrastructures.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will design, implement, and support technical integrations between client environments and Bloomberg's enterprise applications. Solutions may leverage XML and FIX messaging, APIs, and connectivity technologies to facilitate secure and reliable data exchange between client systems and the Bloomberg Cloud.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and deploy integration solutions between Bloomberg platforms and client environments.
Lead technical implementation activities and ensure successful delivery of integration projects.
Work directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and connectivity issues.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Client Service teams to drive successful outcomes.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Work with real-time XML and FIX messaging, data transformations, batch-based processing, FpML and SWIFT messaging, and connectivity solutions using MQ, FIX, TCP/IP, SFTP, Web APIs, WebSockets, and ODBC.
Help clients leverage Bloomberg APIs through server-based and desktop-based architectures.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in a technical role supporting front-office technologies within a financial institution or financial technology vendor.
Capital markets knowledge, including an understanding of buy-side and sell-side order management workflows.
Strong experience with MQ, SFTP, Web APIs, SWIFT, and FIX protocols.
Experience with ETL workflows and data transformation technologies, including XML and XSLT.
Client-facing communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Proven ability to independently manage technical integration and implementation projects.
Programming or scripting experience, preferably with Python or similar technologies.
Experience with source code repositories and software development best practices.
Experience with data analytics or large-scale data environments.
Familiarity with API testing and development tools such as Postman.
AWS and/or Azure foundational certifications are a plus.
Portuguese and/or Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
