Grafana Labs is a fully remote company building Grafana Cloud, a managed observability platform based on open-source technologies and open standards.

The Solutions Engineering team consists of customer-facing product experts who educate prospective and existing customers through demonstrations, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing interaction. Solutions Engineers partner closely with Sales to qualify and close opportunities and communicate customer feedback to Product Management and Engineering.

A Solutions Engineer listens to prospects and customers, understands their requirements, asks questions to gather relevant information, and translates those requirements into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
Own technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skills, and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public or private enablement materials.

Requirements

5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open-source technologies or in the metrics and monitoring space.
Ability to handle varied and complex assignments, requiring strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with remote-first internal teams and worldwide customers.
Ability to clearly articulate the company's value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
Enjoyment of solving technical challenges and creating solutions for customers.
A technical mindset and desire to grow technically.
Must be located in Israel.
