Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a Solutions Engineer in France to join its customer-facing Solutions Engineering team. The team enables global growth by educating potential and existing customers, delivering technical expertise, and helping customers succeed with Grafana Labs technology.

Solutions Engineers act as a bridge between Grafana Labs' engineering teams, customers, and Sales. They listen to customer requirements, identify challenges, and translate them into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana Labs' value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
Own technical customer engagements and help close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public or private enablement materials.

Requirements

5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
Openness to varied and complex assignments requiring strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with remote-first internal teams and customers worldwide.
Ability to clearly articulate Grafana Labs' value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
Enjoyment of solving technical challenges and creating solutions for customers.
A technical mindset and desire to continue developing technical skills.
Must be located in France.

Bonus Points

Experience with open-source technologies or in the metrics and monitoring space.
Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.

Compensation And Benefits

France OTE compensation range: EUR 103,750–EUR 128,000 per year.
Compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skills assessed during the interview process.
