Details

Grafana Labs is seeking a customer-facing Solutions Engineer to serve as a product expert and technical bridge between customers, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering. The role supports Grafana Labs' worldwide growth by educating prospective and existing customers through demonstrations, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing engagement.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana Labs' value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
Own technical customer engagement and help close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public or private enablement materials.
Listen to prospects and customers, understand their requirements, ask relevant questions, and translate their needs into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.

Requirements

At least 3 years of technical pre-sales experience.
Openness to varied and complex assignments requiring strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with remote-first internal teams and worldwide customers.
Ability to clearly articulate the company's value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
Enjoyment of solving technical challenges and developing creative customer solutions.
A technical mindset and desire to continue growing technically.
Must be located in France.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with open-source technologies or in the metrics and monitoring space.
Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.
