The Guest Engagement Advanced Analyst sits within Marketing Analytics and serves as the analytical backbone for Airbnb's lifecycle marketing programs, including email, push, and in-app communications. The role partners with Guest Engagement Marketing, MarTech Data Science, and Strategic Finance to drive measurable booking impact through experimentation and insights.

The position owns analytics for Airbnb's guest lifecycle marketing domain, including abandon journeys, demand generation, onboarding, and upsell programs. It is expected to set the analytics strategy, design rigorous experiments, and surface proactive insights across more than 30 active programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the analytics roadmap for Guest Engagement by defining what to measure, what to test, and where the biggest opportunities lie across the guest lifecycle.
  • Design and analyze experiments at scale across abandon journeys, demand generation machine learning model rollouts, and placement-level A/B tests.
  • Develop measurement frameworks, including holdouts, proxy metrics, and annualized impact models, to accurately attribute cumulative program impact.
  • Surface proactive insights beyond reporting, including user segmentation, funnel analysis, fatigue signals, and channel optimization.
  • Translate findings into strategic recommendations for Director-level marketing leaders.
  • Build scalable, self-serve reporting, including dashboards, OKR tracking, and experiment trackers.
  • Collaborate with MarTech Data Science on machine learning model feedback loops and attribution.
  • Partner with Strategic Finance and Analytics resources in India on goal methodology and operational reporting.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in analytics or data science, with depth in marketing and/or growth analytics.
  • Experience producing analysis that directly shapes team roadmaps, testing strategies, and investment decisions.
  • Strong experimentation skills, including designing and interpreting A/B tests and measurement frameworks for multi-channel marketing programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders and influence Director-level leaders.

Location

This position is US remote eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with the manager. Candidates must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

Compensation

The base pay range is $180,000–$221,000 USD. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
