Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only company, with quarterly in-person working sessions called “surges.”

As a Technical Program Manager on the GFCO Analytics Engineering team, you will own the roadmap and execution for the data models, metrics, and dashboards that power Customer Experience and Compliance Operations. The team combines domain expertise in regulated operations with modern data engineering, including Snowflake, Airflow, Superset/Looker, and AI tooling, to deliver trusted, self-serve data products that support faster decisions and stronger customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the CX Analytics Engineering roadmap, converting requests from Operations, Compliance, Risk, WFM, BizOps, and Product teams into a prioritized backlog based on impact, regulatory urgency, and team capacity.
  • Drive program execution across data model builds, pipeline development, dashboard delivery, and regulatory reporting workstreams.
  • Hold teams accountable to timelines and quality standards.
  • Build and automate project management processes to reduce operational overhead.
  • Partner with CX Operations leadership, Compliance, and Data/Platform Engineering to resolve pipeline dependencies, align on shared data models, and ensure regulatory reporting accuracy.
  • Implement testing, monitoring, and documentation standards, including data contracts, alerting, and quality checks.
  • Leverage AI-assisted workflows and tooling to accelerate insight generation, automate reporting, and scale team impact.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management.
  • At least 3 years supporting data engineering, analytics, or data platform teams in a regulated environment such as fintech, financial services, or crypto.
  • Proven experience owning and prioritizing technical roadmaps across multiple concurrent workstreams while balancing stakeholder needs, engineering capacity, and regulatory requirements.
  • Fluency with modern data stack components such as Snowflake, Airflow, Looker, Superset, and dbt.
  • Ability to engage technically on data modeling, pipeline architecture, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience creating operational leverage through process automation, tooling improvements, and structured program management.
  • Experience driving alignment across 10+ cross-functional stakeholders in Operations, Compliance, Risk, Product, and Engineering.
  • Ability to use generative AI responsibly, maintain human oversight, and deliver business-ready outputs that improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Compensation

  • Annual base salary: $148,835–$175,100 USD.
  • Total compensation may also include equity, bonus eligibility, and medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
